Needs a win against Lyon tonight, and, more importantly, against United on saturday. That would do a lot to wipe out the memory of the Sunderland game. No need to panic just yet, but they have got to turn things around soon.

Well Torres certainly showed his value against United. What a wonderful goal, and what a wonderful through-ball from Benayoun. United were extremely aggressive with the ref from the first whistle. They should not be allowed to get away with that. Hopefully Fergie will have the book thrown at him for his comments about Wiley. That was disgraceful. A touchline ban will not be enough, no matter how long it is for.

It really is blowing up in his face at the moment. He needed a good year without injuries and he has seen more than ever before in the squad. In one way it's hard not to have sympathy for him as his only option, with his financial restrictions, is to go with a small squad and wing it.
