Saw them for the first time today. omigod. They really cannot sing. But they put on a hell of a show. Loads of energy. But they couldn't even do Queen's We Will We Will Rock You. And that song is monotone....

It's all a show. Simon Cowell secretly loves them and thought they'd add excitement to the show. They were auditioned before the live audtions and he just pretended that he hadn't seen them before. There's a great expose by Alison Boshoff in today's Daily Mail

I agree it's all so staged.

From what I read simon's producers are being advised daily by one of TV's greatest entertainment producers - a man called Alan Boyd. He phones in after every show and tells them how they've got to increase the drama of the 'stories'.

He told them they need to have more 'stories' this year or the show would begin to decline. So Jedward are a story - look how many times have they been on the front page of the tabloids?

Last week it was Jedward in swine flu scare etc etc. These guys are gold dust to Simon Cowell and his protests are all part of a carefully rehearsed script. That's why he put it to the public vote last night.

Still great fun though. Surely they're out next week

I think Simon was nasty

Jedward can't sng that well, but they're improving and Lucie's last performance last night wasn't that good, whereas the boys were spot on. On the basis of their performance he should have just voted them back in

I reckon they'll go for two more shows

Simon will have to get rid of them soon They may be great for ratings but they can't make it to the final few or it will damage the brand too much. The last 2 winners were quite good so they need the show to remain credible.

It's unfair to the lovely Lucie, and the rest of the singers. These kids are desperate to make it as singers. Trained to believe that hard hard work to be talented at singing, dancing, talking, etc.. to make it in pop world. And now, everything they've ever believed and been taught is being flung back in the poor kids faces.

The talent contest has become more of a popularity contest. The viewing public are making a mockery of the show, but the media and the show producers are indeed loving it.

Simon spent all Saturday nights show bleating on about this is a music / singing competition, so why the sudden change of heart? He did a complete about-face. Simon is looking after Simon, it's not about which one of his guys wins, but about Simon winning. I couldn't help but feel Louis and Simon had some arrangement made by Sunday.

Also, Louis is making a total mockery of the two boys, there's only so much abuse anybody can take and he is allowing them to be subjected to increased humiliation weekly. This week he succeeded in making the two boys look like Podge and Rodge sitting in that car in the opening sequence of their act. It's quite obvious that Louis does not have the best interest of the boys at heart, quite the opposite, Like Simon, he's looking after himself.  And has anyone else thought that Louis is acting more and more unhinged? Frankly he's behaving like someone who's a sandwich short of a picnic.

I also ask the question, what parent would allow a man of Louis supposed influence to degrade their children to such a level? Maybe it's time the parents of these two boys stopped looking at the money and looked after the sanity of their sons. We all know fame comes at a price, but in this case what price dignity?

It's clear to see that these two so called professionals do not care about people with real talent, only the money the show pulls in. They have denied people with real talent from progressing, by allowing those two talentless individuals to stay in. Louis and Simon's integrity should be called into question. This isn't entertainment anymore it's an embarrassment to all concerned.
