Have we any hope. France will kills us. We don't want to go to Russia where we'd playing on a plastic pitch.
 Against greece we won't be underdogs - it would be like for like or Portugal - that's out best chance. An ageing squad but they do have Ronaldo.

What we need now is to get Steve Ireland back, get some control back centre-mid

France is not a good draw. Look at the squad they have, we need some serious luck to get through this one

france is and ok draw they are beatable for sure. 0-0 at home and a sneaky goal away sure ur on to a winner then

France will have too much class for us. An Ireland win would be a huge shock. There will be individual mistakes or lapses of concentration that will cost us the game.

The last time Ireland beat france was 1981 and I just about remember that.
If we beat them today it will be historic enough, without the points towards the World Cup qualification.
