Fantastic news that she's got out. Just heard her on morning Ireland and it sounded like an incredible ordeal. She and the other girl were held by 18 men all heavily armed. That must have been extremely scary. You must have thought every day that one of them could go mad and rape you, or worse, shoot you..

Great news.   Well done,Sharon,  The horror you both suffered was intolerable and you were only there to help people.  As we sit here at home worrying about the price of potatoes and NAMA let us not forget the sacrifice people like Sharon make to look after others who may not even have water.  Thank God you are back with your loving family and your many friends,Sharon and let us not forget your lovely Ugandan partner and how she is now reunited with her family.  God bless you all.. Oh, and I am incensed with politicians at the moment but I heap praise on Minister Miceal Martin for the work and time he devoted to this release and for the once SENSIBLE use of the Government Jet.   Accolades here, Minister.
